FREN 347 or FREN 348 are strongly recommended, as is the Wheaton in Francophone Country program. Other courses, which may include a study abroad program in the target language, should be selected in consultation with a French faculty advisor.

Students are strongly encouraged to take classes that are equivalent to FREN 335 and FREN 338. Classes must be selected in consultation with a French faculty advisor.
Note: Courses used to meet the core requirements cannot also be used to meet the electives (i.e., FREN 331).
