The two upper-division courses taken for the endorsement may not double-count with existing major requirements, but they may double-count with courses in the Latin for Classical Christian Education Certificate. The minimum grade for each of the two courses other than CLAL 499 is an A-.

Upon departmental approval, 4 hours of another ancient language, such as Akkadian, Aramaic, or Ugaritic, may be substituted.
