Along with specific requirements for any major, all students in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree programs must meet all general education and graduation requirements under a single catalog.

 Requirements for a major in Art with an Art History Concentration are 36 hours including:

Studio art courses
Study abroad courses (highly encouraged)
A senior thesis (ART 498 and ART 499) or a for-credit internship (ART 496), (neither of which are required)

Students are advised that ART 494 (494-1 for Art History concentration) is offered alternate years in the Spring so should be taken in the junior or senior year.

Please note: Art History courses ART 251 & ART 351 are offered each year. ART 352 & ART 353 are offered every other year in the Spring.
