Majoring in Mathematics with Teaching requires that the student complete a second major in Secondary Education or the Pre-Licensure Secondary Education certificate. If a student chooses to drop the Secondary Education major or the pre-licensure secondary education certificate, they must drop the Mathematics with Teaching major and choose a standalone major in the content area.
