The M.A. in Humanitarian & Disaster Leadership is designed to enhance ministry skills and help students start or advance careers in a wide range of humanitarian and disaster-assistance related fields. Students are prepared to respond to crises, disasters, and challenges of poverty both domestically and internationally. The program emphasizes humble Christian leadership and evidence-based practices and provides training for students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to address complex challenges such as disaster response, anti-human trafficking, refugee care, humanitarian assistance and more. This program integrates technical competencies with faith formation, practical skills, experiential learning, and valuable networking opportunities. Students gain comprehensive knowledge applicable to both professional growth and potential doctoral studies. Graduates emerge with both sectoral knowledge and a deeper commitment to loving God and loving neighbors.

For undergraduates, an accelerated M.A. option is available. After completing 60 credits, students can begin taking graduate-level courses that may count toward both their undergraduate degree (with approval) and the M.A. in Humanitarian & Disaster Leadership.
