Along with specific requirements for any major, all students in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree programs must meet all general education and graduation requirements under a single catalog.

 Requirements for the History/Social Science major (usually a teacher education concentration) are 44 hours, including 34 credits in Hisotry and 10 credits in Social Sciences:

In addition, History/Social Science majors seeking teacher licensure must meet requirements listed under the Education Department. Students who have declared the major and later choose not to pursue teacher licensure may continue in the major with the approval of the History Department chair.
