Along with specific requirements for any major, all students in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree programs must meet all general education and graduation requirements under a single catalog.
The Secondary Education Teacher Licensure option leads to a double major in Secondary Education and Geology. Requirements are as follows:

Those interested in pursuing an Accelerated Masters in Teaching (MAT) as an undergraduate can complete either the Geology Education track of courses listed above OR the Geology BS major track with the addition of supporting courses listed above. Either track of Geology coursework may be chosen to meet the MAT requirement but a hybrid of Geology courses between the two tracks cannot.
